Diane Pascua: Coaching Director / 16's Co-Festival Level Coach

Diane is currently the Coaching Director for Solana Beach Volleyball club. As well, Diane is the junior varsity girl’s volleyball coach at Carlsbad high school, in addition to assisting with the middle school volleyball program at Santa Fe Christian School. From 2001-2006, Diane was the head girl’s varsity coach for Santa Fe Christian school. During her five years as head coach, the team competed in four state title matches, winning its first one in 2003 and second in 2005. In 2006, she stepped down from the position to pursue a career in professional beach volleyball.

Diane attended Gonzaga University (‘95-’99) where she surpassed 1,000 kills, becoming just the sixth Zag to do so. She also left the school in the top 10 in blocks, digs and aces. After college, she relocated in San Diego, and began coaching at the club level with Solana Beach VBC under the direction of Dave and Maria Barkley. She is currently playing on the FIVB World Tour as a representative of the Philippines, in addition to competing on the AVP Pro Beach Tour.
